Accepting New Clients: Yes
In therapy we discover ways to cope with life’s struggles and open to life's joys. Somatic relational psychotherapy helps us become more grounded, tune into ourselves and our true wants and desires, find and express our own voice, and stretch beyond our old limits—toward greater pleasure and deeper connected- ness with others.
I help clients learn to live more fully. As you move through the emotions and the old blocks from past experiences, it is exciting to see what comes to life from within you. Depending on each person’s individual needs and comfort level, we can use words, movement, art, and expression of emotion. You are free to reach for what you need in the safety and confidentiality of your own therapy.
I see clients of all ages. I work with adults both individually and as couples. I also provide a safe place for children, youth, and families to work through difficult times and challenges. In all of my work, I help build on strengths and I offer myself as a support.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Bioenergetic Therapist. I am an Associate Trainer for the Southern California Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis and I am Coordinator for the Bioenergetics One-Year Somatic Relational Psychology Workshop Series. I teach clinical counseling on the faculty of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and I teach a number of psychology courses as an adjunct faculty member at National University. I also present trainings at community agencies and other colleges.
