Accepting New Clients: Yes

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have a broad range of professional experience spanning over 17 years. I have counseled individuals and families of many cultures with a variety of treatment needs and have coached them through problems related to family stress, parenting, violence, divorce and custody. I bring to my work a maturity and professional neutrality that clients find beneficial. I have helped individuals work through issues with weight management, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and addiction. My supportive, nonjudgmental presence sets the stage for clients to unfold in a safe environment.

In addition to traditional therapeutic methods based on psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and attachment-based theoretical models, I incorporate Bioenergetic body-centered and mindfulness techniques. I tailor my work to the individual client in helping him/her transform difficult behaviors, emotions, and thought patterns to create a more fulfilling, joyful life.

In addition to ongoing long-term therapy to address chronic needs, I offer focused, time-limited programs. For more information: www.ddevorelcsw.com.
