Laura Partridge,

MFT, CBT

The bodymind connection is fundamental in Laura’s experience and her work as a therapist. When this connection is disrupted through heartbreak, disease, or trauma, we can feel out of sorts, dis-regulated, anxious, confused and/or depressed. Through the healing qualities of a therapeutic relationship, the mind/body can begin to align itself again, to soften and to heal. In a private office setting, Laura works with individuals, couples, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, parenting and more.

Laura’s early training includes work with abused and neglected children, adolescents and families in a residential treatment center and in local public schools. She facilitated parenting classes and domestic violence support groups for non-profit agencies. For the past 18 years, Laura has maintained a private practice in Escondido counseling individuals, couples and families through the issues and struggles that come into their lives.

Laura received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology. She has completed a 4-year, post-graduate training program in Bioenergetic Analysis from The Southern California Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis.
